long and for whatever reason we just froze up. This loss to me is probably the hardest one to me that I can remember since I've been watching VT BB since the mid-60s. I cannot remember a collapse this huge on this large a stage. Maybe the Dayton Elite 8 game from 1967 because we blew that game but not that big a lead.

It will be interesting to see what VT team shows up in the first NCAA game - a team whose confidence is shattered or a team that is steeled and determined.
