As I understand it, Tanner was a 3-pt. specialist. While nowhere near the shooter that Tanner is, McClung is so quick, athletic, and physical, that he can create his own shot most all the time. He can share the ball very well too, but he was in a situation in HS where he had to score the bulk of his team’s points. I think his challenge will be to change the “I have to score” mindset to “I have to distribute the ball, and score when given the opportunity”. We’ll see how he does. I know there are a lot of people rooting against him. “Hater” is too strong a word, “but “jealousy” fits quite nicely.
