FWIW the Chicago Bears used to play their home games


until 1970. The diagram below seems to suggest that if the IL-NW Game in 2010 used the same configuration as what the Bears used for their home games, then the game could have used the entire 120 yds. Although I doubt it since part of the end zone is still close to the bleachers (left field instead of right field). It will be interesting to see what plan the Cubs decide to implement to make it more football friendly.

I found this article, which appears to give some insight on the Cubs' future plan for Wrigley. If the field is positioned from home plate to center field, then the entire field could probably be used during the game. Although the view for most fans would be horrible (unless you enjoy the view from the end zones).
