So I'm doing a tax return the other day and I call my client to tell him

I'm missing a K-1.

He says, "No, I was out of that in 2016. There won't be a k-1 for 2017."

I point out that the 2016 K-1 wasn't marked final, so he should be getting one more K-1. He insists it's not going to happen and I should go ahead and finish his return.

So I finish his return, he picks it up, and this morning he drops his e-file signature forms in the mail.

10 minutes ago, he emailed me the GD K-1.

Sometimes I know what I'm talking about.
