Without his helicopter dad proclaiming him the second coming of Magic Johnson, he'd just be another mediocre NBA PG. LaVar's outrageous antics get people talking about an otherwise unremarkable player, so mission accomplished I guess.

Same story with his even more irrelevant sons in Lithuania (about to get relegated to an even LOWER league than the tiny one they currently play in). Have you ever heard any American talk about obscure eastern european basketball clubs until LaVar did his thing?

We can't criticize LaVar's antics, because this thread is proof positive that they are working.
