Not if you used Infrared heat in there. That would entail a Radient->
Heat System. The heat is in the ceiling and creates a heat sink in the floor. No different than the sun heating the earth. The floor is the warmest and it gets cooler as you go towards the ceiling...PERFECT for what they need.
Radiant heat was developed for use in Airplane Hangers and large garages where the doors are open a lot of the time..
PERFECT for an indoor practice facility and not prohibitive from an on-going cost standpoint
