This is how I see it, as well.


We have to break through in a sport to get somewhere special. I believe it can happen. I believe a national title is in the future. We're used to mediocrity, but you can't stay mediocre forever.

I am usually a pessimist, but if we give it enough shots, chances are we will succeed. If we keep making the NCAA tournament, we WILL make it past the first round. And even if we don't, we get needed exposure. This year was huge with wins over UNC and UVA in both football and basketball. Those are our two biggest rivals in terms of recruiting. It basically said, "if you are looking for a place to make a name for yourself, surrounded by the most passionate/hungry fans in the nation, look no further than Blacksburg, Virginia."

More records are going to be broken by our programs.

I don't know if we've ever had it better. If anyone decides to not be a Tech fan anymore, that's their decision. As for me and everyone that stays with it, that first national championship moment will make it worth staying with Tech.
