While I am gleefully amused to see them lose as rivalries should be light-hearted fun, there's little value in generalizing the entire school as elitist liberals. If some select UVA fans yelled a punchline to you 20+ years ago after you stormed THEIR football field, not sure why you would carry that negative energy for so long.

Back to basketball instead of stereotypes... UVA lost not because they have no heart, but because UMBC played a hell of game while UVA's system leaves little chance for victory if an opponent shoots lights out, especially from 3's.
