That's probably kind of deceptive. They played 4 teams twice during the regular season: Louisville, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, and Georgia Tech. Two NCAA tournament teams and another that was on the bubble and left out. Every other team had to play at least 1 game against the #1 RPI school, which is likely going to make those schedules tougher.

They also added wins over Louisville, Clemson, and UNC again in the ACC tournament. Great season up until last night! The loss last night is pretty hard to explain, but I think it's tough to say that Bennett isn't a very good coach when he's had the kind of regular season and ACC tournament success that UVA has enjoyed during his tenure. Back to the drawing board with his NCAA tournament preparation/routine, though.
