I just heard on the radio. The bridge at FIU collapsed as the cables were


Being tightened during a stress test. I’m not an engineer, question for those that are. Why was the road open during the test. I would think closing it would have been the smart/safe decision. I know they are/were testing a faster way to build bridges. Why not err on the side of caution.
