I had heard the Mike Aresco interview two weeks ago talking about the American working on an alliance for college football officiating with another conference. But he wouldn't say which conference. Well now we know. It is the ACC.

This makes me wonder if the AAC will also join the alliance we have in men's basketball with the Big East, Atlantic 10, Colonial Athletic Association, Ivy League, Northeast, Patriot League, and Big South. My guess is probably so. If you're going to do it with football, you can be sold on doing it with basketball too. This part wasn't announced today, just football today.
