Fuente basically said, last week, that we have limited experience at CB and that the experienced players (cough -- Adonis Alexander -- cough) we do have, hadn't shown themselves to be reliable and consistent players.
The coaches aren't blind or stupid. They are very much aware of Farley's potential impact on the offensive side of the ball -- they're more aware of it than any of us fans -- and yet, they're moving him to defense. That should tell everyone just how bad the situation is at CB and how little confidence our coaches have in the guys we have there today.
This tells me that the net loss of productivity our offense will experience by moving Farley is not only acceptable but necessary to give us a chance of filling a CB position that is in dire need of filling.
