Until it changes, nothing changes. Personally, I would like to see it mirror baseball, immediate draft after HS, or go to college for 3 years. Quite honestly, if you are NBA material, you leave very early, one and done, or you stay all 4. There really isn't much middle ground, some cases, but those are extreme exceptions.

But until the NBA changes, nothing really matters. It is all just hollow talk.

Besides, the NCAA couldn't really enforce it on the player for year 2. That would be involuntary servitude, there is a law against it. We used to call that slavery.
