Our receivers are significantly better IMO? Based on what metric?
Sean Savoy would probably be one of the top WR's but he has the recurring issue with dropping passes. Of the others, none have demonstrated the consistent ability to high point the football, make catches in traffic, create separation from the line of scrimmage, become the deep threat needed, or accumulate yards after the catch on a consistent basis. I think in limited action, Caleb demonstrated more in these metrics that at least 95% of the WR's on the roster.
Based on these issues, I do not share the opinion that we are set a wide receiver and that was the contention of the original post. We currently have bodies but no measurable statistics which demonstrate we are set at receiver. I trust coach FU but the evidence is not currently strong enough to make that statement.
