We used to get pretty good crowds back when Bonnie was here. Some of those


games vs. UConn, Xavier, UMass.there were 5,000+ in the stands, although most of the students were from the Corps. I remember the UConn games getting more than 7,000. Getting the team back into the national rankings will help bring the numbers up again somewhat, but I don't know if we'll ever get back to where we were in our heyday. Among the students, women's basketball just isn't on their radar. Our string of bad coaches really put us in a hole. But Kenny is getting things turned around. It justs takes time. But to your point, unless you're one of the heavy hitters in women's basketball, it's definitely not a money maker.
