with a 14-game turnaround at UMBC and a few pretty good seasons as a head coach at 3 stops now. He’s obviously getting talked about mostly because of the tourney win and I don’t think I’d have him anywhere near the top of my search list, but he’s definitely been successful.
I would be much more inclined to target more established coaches at this point, if the need arises. If I were going to go after a young mid-major, it would probably be somebody more like Earl Grant at Charleston. I’m guessing that we would both agree that we can likely set our sights higher with Whit at the helm. [Post edited by No1Hokie at 03/24/2018 10:03AM]
