Softball RPI

NCAA RPI as of Monday. As you'll see, the ACC is very weak except for FSU with Notre Dame and Louisville being somewhat respectable. I think P-5 softball programs usually need a RPI of 40 or better to get to the tournament most years. The Pac 12, SEC, and Big 12 are the top 3 P-5 softball conferences.

ACC RPI rankings:
7. Florida State
39. Notre Dame
43. Louisville
55. Boston College
61. North Carolina
68. Pittsburgh
77. NC State
97. Duke
99. Georgia Tech
109. Syracuse
125. Virginia Tech
225. Virginia

NCAA D-1 State RPI rankings:
29. James Madison
40. Liberty
65. Longwood
86. Radford
125. Virginia Tech
225. Virginia
240. George Mason
246. Hampton
284. Norfolk State
Rather disappointing that the 2 ACC softball programs in the state are in the bottom half of the state's 8 D-1 programs RPI-wise.
