College textbooks have always been a scam.


New editions every year because they changed the placement of a comma..on a $200 dollar book. I had a professor that made a textbook he coauthored required for his courses...we used it twice the entire semester. I made it through plenty of classes using outdated editions I found in second hand stores or online.
