I like the way Fuente approaches this
Every position is in play so you'd better bring your a-game every day in practice. If you're guaranteed your job just because you started last year we are possibly f-ed because last year's guy is the guy until he leaves. We saw that under Claiborne and that led to his firing. Coffey and Sharpe did the same and they were fired. That would be a recruiting mistake. Every year your job is on the line and you must earn it. JJ is a good QB but he needs to know that Willis is breathing in his collar, and that will only make JJ become better or relinquish the starting position.
