Good post. We'll know soon how strong the bond between Whit and Scot is.
Thomas made comments last fall about how he needed to get better. Eight months later, things haven't gotten better. Of course, Thomas has made some excuses for the team's troubles. If Whit thinks like you, Thomas is gone. If Whit and Scot have a very positive and trusting relationship, he may get a contract extension. I agree with you about it being a business. If I performed like Thomas has the past few seasons, my employer would most likely terminate my employment. Like I said before, I think if Whit fires Scot, that he'll do it in the same manner he replaced the former women's lacrosse coach a few years ago.
