1) A verbal is just that. But I think most schools back off once a wrestler has verballed. In football there are some schools that don't start recruiting a player until he's verballed elsewhere.
2) Yes. There's not much left after the NLI period.
3) It is not a formula and is not transparent. I'm not sure I want it to be either. Generally, as a rule, better wrestlers, get more money. But if someone wants to work with a rock star like Molinaro, the may take less money.
4) Again, there are no steadfast rules or formal process. Frayer basically recruited Graff, who ended up on staff. I think Ethan was looking around and they networked into an agreement. I don't know for sure, but I'd be shocked if he's not getting compensated, as he's the PoC for our camps/
