Yes as said, the ACC softball conference has gotten weaker

I think there is some complacency within the conference that hopefully will be starting to change soon. Pitt has improved pretty dramatically, Notre Dame is better, and even Carolina has been solid for the past few years. Pitt got hosed from the NCAA tournament as they should have been ahead of ND. In reality, FSU should probably been only ACC team to make it. NC State has already made a coaching change....I think with Duke's early success and Clemson coming in 2020, the ACC ADs need to examine their programs and act sooner than later. The new recruiting limitations should allow for a faster impact for those programs seeking improvement.
