I actually believe that culture tops all.....and makes talent better

Yes of course talent matters, but it is a team game and the margin of difference is very, very small. VT beat Michigan, was competitive with Ole Miss....beat Liberty, Notre Dame, etc....was even competitive with FSU. Difference is leadership and the culture of the program. Look at the uplift in our lacrosse and women's basketball programs with the same teams / same recruiting classes. Even football has outperformed the past two years with Beamer's recruits. Leadership and culture makes all teams better whether on the field or in the corporate world. My two cents....
