when I'm tailgating, at the beach, finishing up lawn chores, eating pizza, etc. I want a beer, really just about any normal beer flavor will do. Not a beer snob.

But I also really enjoy trying other styles - particularly heavy stouts, porters, etc. even some with unusual flavors (had a hot pepper stout that was outstanding) - usually after dinner, winding down - kinda like a bourbon. I don't consider it "beer" as such, it's more like another type of malted adult drink.

Now I'll try just about any, just because I enjoy trying new stuff, but not really into the citrus fruity or sour "beers". Some with a just a hint of raspberry can be pretty good.
