From 1955 to 1991, before FSU joined the ACC and Tech joined the Big East..


Tech played FSU 29 times within a 37 year period with gaps in 1960 and between 1981 and 87. When Tech was in the Big East, we only played them twice in bowl games. Since joining the ACC, we've played FSU only 3 times in scheduled ACC play in the last 13 years with 2 more games in an ACCCG. We do play FSU again this year, but that's only 4 scheduled times in 14 years. Pretty sad considering we were FSU's most played out of state opponent for years until recently.
