60% confident of a Hokie victory
I read a lot of preseason magazines, and even the best ones always seem to underestimate the impact of a poor to average offensive line. In this case, the problem is likely to be compounded by a fast, attacking defense.
I remember several years ago reading Phil Steele's analysis of Clemson. They returned a ton of offensive talent but very few offensive lineman. It must have been the 2014-2015 team, because they lost 3 games during the regular season. They also only scored 17 points against BC (win), 6 points against GT (loss), and 16 points vs Syracuse (win).
The Tigers had talent on the line, but they were young and had not played beside each other before...
