We design and fabricate stainless steel sculptures for display in public areas and private collections. We are currently looking for new shop assistants to work with us on a part-time basis. Scheduling your working hours will be very flexible.

Duties include:

Maintaining shop and shop machines
Assisting in fabrication of sculptures
Research of products and services
Design of elementary mechanical systems

The position will provide a large amount of hands-on experience. I prefer that you have good working knowledge of tools, good self-motivation skills, and a passion for creativity and design.
Creativity and problem solving will be very important, as you may be given tasks with open ends requiring research and concept sketching to develop a viable solution.

If you do not have a great deal of experience with metal/wood fabrication tools, but feel your problem solving and creativity skills are extraordinary, please apply and share your ability. Tool use and safety can be learned.
