In Vinton, about 15 minutes from the Roanoke Civic Center

Many years ago, it was home to the professional team in Roanoke before the roof collapsed during a blizzard. Since then it was rebuilt as a health club, but without the ice rink.

A group of investors, which includes the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs, is adding an ice rink and totally remodeling the building. Most of the youth hockey in Roanoke will move over there when it opens in September and ice availability will increase tremendously, which will be a huge plus for the VT team.
