Absolutely. It also gives the Dawgs ice all season

The first two years, there have been 3-4 weeks that the Civic Center ice is unavailable due to Monster Trucks, Rodeo, etc and the professional team (Rail Yard Dawgs) has to stay on the road. In addition, that means the Hokies also don't have home ice to either play nor practice - they end up going to Lynchburg. Now that won't be an issue.

This is a HUGE win for all.
