Caps GM Brian MacLellan knows what he is doing. Everything will be fine for the Caps.
If the Caps had not won the Cup Trotz was not coming back.
Since the Caps did win the Cup they offered Trotz a chance to come back but if he said no then no worries they go with their plan if they had not won the Cup.
