If you look at the series with Navy and even Army

then you will see VT has played only 1 game at home.

6 games against Army (1905, 1938, 1942, 1947, 1948, and 1962) - all @ Army
10 games against Navy (1903, 1904, 1905, 1906, 1907, 1908, 1910, 1915, 1987, and 1995) - 9 @ Navy and 1 @ VT

Given that majority of the games were prior to WWII, I understand why VT played those games at the other school. However, Navy has been willing to play @Ohio State, @Indiana, @Penn State, and @South Carolina, it would be nice to see Navy agree to play a few games @VT to kinda balance out the series some. The same holds true for Army since they have played @TAMU, @Iowa State, @Penn State, @Ohio State, @Michigan, and @Vandy. Heck Army even played @Yale in 2014. So why not VT?

I don't think VT should play Army and Navy more too many times because the game will only hurt VT's SOS. However, I don't see any problem with dropping a game or two against a DI-FCS school for a home game with Army or Navy. I would include Air Force, but I would prefer Air Force to be a home-home series even if it means play Air Force's home game in Denver.
