Win Win for both sides

Madrid get a nice return on Ronaldo which will help eventually purchase their next talisman whether it's Neymar or the growing possibility of Mbappe. A declining Ronaldo at Madrid would cause team chemistry issues. Ronaldo has to be the attacking alpha. He would lose that status in the next year with Neymar's arrival or to Ascensio/Bale with his decline in skills.

With Ronaldo, Juventus separate themselves domestically after Napoli closed the gap. Italy has a slower pace than Spain and especially England/Germany. Assuming good health, Ronaldo should have no problem posting 30+ goals over the next several seasons. Luca Toni won the Scudetto at 38 or 39. Ronaldo's drive doesn't appear to slow down; even though, his body shows signs.

$110M transfer, even for a 33-year old, is not a bad investment for Ronaldo. Juve most likely negotiated a 50% image rights deal which will increase their shirt sales. Juventus pissed off fans this summer raising ticket prices considerably and needed a major signing to alleviate fan anger.
