Point is that scholarship athletes are given a clear set of guidelines
nobody on the football team is wondering "how much weed can I have in my dorm room?" They know the rules. The athletic staff drive home points on drugs, gambling, attending class, cheating, etc.
So when someone gets kicked off an athletic team, its not because they were set up or mis-led. They had a choice, and they made the wrong choice.
That's life in the big leagues. I hope Mook learns from his mistake in the future.
This coming from a dad sending two kids to college reminding them they have to make wise decisions, or it can all be taken away.
