I think what posters are asking


Is she being held by some Jamaican government agency? laws broken? won't release her because of dementia?

In a hospital that won't release her without family that has recognized standing there?

Is she living on her own and just doesn't recognize family due to dementia? Doesn't want to leave...

Was she a victim of scam artists who recognized dementia and are taking advantage of her? Claiming they are guardians or similar?

Each of those might lead to different ways to attack the problem.

Hope it works out as well.
