But reporters jump to saying it is 17 feet of water in Lynchburg


and they have no idea what "the water depth AT Lynchburg could exceed 17 feet in 7 minutes." might really mean. Now, I don't know exactly what it means. Reread that.

But the water depth "AT Lynchburg could exceed 17 feet..." MIGHT mean that AT a specific measuring location it will read above 17 feet - when the average measurement at that point is 16 feet.

I know the area enough that this is not the case, but reporters twist words so much it makes everything suspect - even when they are not trying to bias their opinion.
