If you are top 4...


it doesn't matter what your ranking is going into NCAA IMO. If you are truly top 4 talent you should be able to beat the guys ahead of you and getting to finals is goal. Only if you are a mid-ranked or low-ranked does NCAA ranking matter as it could make the difference in an extra win or two and possibly AAing.

So if McF, or possibly Lewis depending on how well he does in his debut year, come in at a ranking lower than if they had wrestled all year I don't think it will matter. You want them at their strongest and freshest.
