There's some truth to that, but

MOST rules are selectively enforced by the person in charge of those rules and you make compromises and learn to adjust accordingly - i.e. drive the speed limit, approximately 5-7 MPH over speed limit, or 20 MPH over - you decide and live with the consequences.

The demographics here are mostly male and most of those apparently don't mind admiring a beautiful woman in sexy attire on this site - within limits - if they want more than that there are plenty of other sites available. Each person has a different idea what is acceptable.

I'm guessing Will would love to increase overall site traffic. If toning down how risque the pictures are increases his traffic by appealing to other demographics - he's all for that - provided he doesn't have a net loss of traffic by strictly enforcing the rules. I'm guessing he walks that line every time he reads the boards.

The board and the monitors do appear to bring judgement on political posts more often than "how hawt" posts, most likely because the site demographics are more evenly split on the political posts and the possibility of losing traffic or having the site morph into something they don't intend or want is greater.

Hypocritical? maybe a little - but the board's creators/owners get to make that compromise between running a PRONO/UWS site and a stuffy, no fun sports site as they see fit. We are free to read/participate as we see fit.
