Congrats on picking the fund that outperformed the market, but


just for grins, you should go back and see what it's 11 year return is. Your fund might have outperformed the last ten years because it fell off a steeper cliff than the indexes during the great recession. Ten years is just capturing the recovery. You still would have done well, but maybe not market beating.

I did the math about a year ago, and an investment in the S&P 500 made in October 2007 would have almost doubled in the decade since.
