When I'm on my "low carb" diet,

My breakdown between (grams of) carbs, protein and fat is about a third of each. I've found I can sustain that for long periods of time...easily long enough to drop 50.

I try to eat fairly healthy when I'm "off diet," so I guess I shift to ~50% carbs, with fat and protein battling for 25% each. (The only way protein stays at 25% then is if I consume protein supplements.)

I've found it's difficult to sustain the original Atkins diet for long periods of time. Too many fruits and veggies just beyond my reach...
