Yes I believe she has always attended on the child college GI bill benefit

She was great (especially hitting) her freshman year. Yes she appeared burnt out of softball her sophomore year and Thomas certainly played a part in that. She was mediocre hitting and bad defensively (led the ACC in passed balls; VT staff led in wild pitches) and especially couldn't handle the freshman pitchers well. Let's hope she is fully committed and agree its worth a ("free") shot from new coach. Apparently she is recently engaged to be married so not sure of that impact on her commitment to softball. Best case, she returns to freshman hitting form and contributes somehwere defensively. Hopefully the worse case is the experiment doesn't work and doesn't create a negative distraction
