I have several problems with this.

In a school setting the cell phone problem is tough. Most parents want their kids to have cell phones cause it gives them some semblance of security (I can get in touch with my kid!), but this undermines that. Not really a huge deal DURING class, but still. The one big thing that sticks out to me is what about an emergency situation. Say a gunman walks into a classroom. Now the kids have no ability to reach out to anyone unless the teacher hits the button. It also pisses me off that the company "rents" the pouches to the school. There is no purpose for that. They are just trying to squeeze the school for cash.

The company also advertises they are for concert venues. Sorry, I plopped down my hard earned cash, dealt with getting to and parking at your venue, etc. etc. You are not going to tell me how I can and cannot use my phone at your venue. That's a hard pass from me.
