just as you are entitled to laugh at it. If a fan on the internet can push a player out the door there are bigger problems in the program to worry about(I do not think there are). Coaches are paid to win and stay employed by winning so it is pretty unreasonable to think they would consciously play anyone but, the kid they believe gives the best chance to win. Of course differences of opinion can arise due to differences in perspective(one game versus a season or longer) and the traits(just physical skill or other factors decision making, etc.) most highly valued.

As far as Hooker, Willis or any other back up quarterback goes they have to make the best decision for their own long term goals. The best any school can ever hope for in a situation where you have a lot of talented players competing for a spot is that the competitors are satisfied with the process. That does not mean they have to like the decision. Programs that get in to trouble over time lose a lot of players because they disagree with the process.
