I don't think they had any malicious or selfish intent at all.

Extra prep time isn't going to help this awful ECU team beat UCF. UCF is good, and ranked. They might be the best college team in Florida. It really is about not having a place to practice if their field was flooded, and uncertainty about the drive from Blacksburg back home to Orlando etc.

Added Later: Yeah...they are playing USF not UCF...but...I stand by my post, they ain't beating USF either!!! ECU won't be bowl eligible....yes they beat UNC...but UNC is awful. Fuente is going to try to score 100, and honestly...he might just do it.
