Ahh, I do remember the sailors. It appears that my PE teacher played then


for the Richmond Roadrunners.. Leapin' Leroy DeShazor.

He'd bring in game film and let us watch. He had an INT that he must have re-played 15 times!

I also saw the Jets play the Patriots in a pre-season game in 1968 or so at City Stadium (it's still there). Namath didn't play, but Babe Perilli and Matt Snell played for the Pats.
