He chose to sign with the Browns in order to start so some of the blame
lies at his feet. Also Hugh Jackson basically did not make an open QB competition and basically said Tyrod was his starter from day 1. Having watched several of the Browns game this year, other than the kicker that was released last week and Josh Gordon, he has been the biggest disappoint on their offense to date. Indecisive, poor decision on passes, held on to the ball too long. He seemed to have regressed vs. last year with the Bills. Hugh Jackson basically did everything to make sure he started and kept the job. Heck the bigger question is what did Hugh Jackson see in practice that made him not start Baker to begin with.
