Tech will have to fire and hire coaches very frequently until one sticks. Then bend some rules and test the ethical waters a bit. Unfortunately, we can't go back in time and win a Natty. That 1980 Natty resonated with the CU fanbase for well over 30 years. So much so that they felt entitle enough to be shoukder to shoulder with the elite. That mindset and perserverance got Clemson to where they are today.

Other schools like Clemson (in terms of mindset) are UT, PSU, Michigan and Nebraska. All those mentioned will win another Natty within the next 20 years as long as they never give up. Tech's athletic mindset is to do well enough to make money, but not to be great. This won't change in my lifetime. I just hope Tech at least stays ethical if we accept above averageness.
