It's healthy that you look at it from their perspective

But you also have to keep in mind that ND fans were sweating just as we would be if we were in their shoes. Their record on the road against quality opponents (and especially after Miami last year) would've had me worried about last weekend if I were a golden domer.

As for the talent disparity, you're right on the money. We would grill the absolute hell out of Fuente if he had all upperclassmen and lost to a team that couldn't even handle a C-USA opponent. Fuente has beaten quality opponents (at the time), but never one that really stuck with Hokie Nation. I think the win against Duke was absolutely incredible and there were no excuses for our fanbase to excuse the win as an FSU or WVU situation. Duke is legitimately good. Don't forget that.

I don't believe we "SUCK" right now but we have much room for improvement. The ND loss humbled us, but we still have a normal aspirations of claiming the finally beating GT (Fuente has yet to do so), beating Miami AT HOME (mark this one, please. Very valid chance to get that AP top 25 win in Lane that we craved against ND), Commonwealth Cup, ACC Coastal, and possible ACC Championship. That's all still on the line. And that's normally our ceiling, so no, we do not suck. We're just our normal average selves for another season (for what we lost in defense we made up for in offense this year it seems).

GO HOKIES
