Does the ACC want to reinforce its presence and adoption in the regions in the current ACC footprint, or does the ACC want to expand into another unfamiliar region. I think there is more work to do in the East.

And I keep going back to the discuss we've had about the primary mission of these schools with athletics is to promote the schools to prospective students. This is especially important to the private schools that make up 50% of the conference.

I see study after study that make it clear where the wealth in the country is located regionally, and that's where kids have parents that can afford these tuitions. I've linked a recent one, and the region to show me the money is rather obvious.

For football, the answer would be more Florida, more Texas. For other needs that these schools have, maybe not if we can keep a core group in the league that reach the playoffs often.

If we're going to commit to Texas, we'll have to go all in like we did with the northeast. I just wonder if that spreads us out too much.
