Her biggest problem was the lack of any perceivable research on her part. She just seemed to write based on next to zero actually insight into the teams. Usually it was just "Miami is back and they will finally challenge F$U for ACC dominance." Reporting on any other team was just parroting whatever she might have read in some national column.

I'm not saying she couldn't write, just that she seemed to be too lazy to do any actual research...and she could have done that research online without getting her fat butt off her couch...but that was a bridge too far.

That's why most people thought she was a second rate hack...because she was.
