It seems like all of the VT media actually think Fuente could possibly be considering burning the QP RS. Unless Wild Thing gets hurt and is out more than a series, QP won’t play more than 4 games this season. It doesn’t make any sense. That’s why HH is currently the back-up.

At least, if all of the VT media continues to talk it up, that’s additional focus that other teams may be placing on QP as well, and that just takes away from their available time to game plan vs. Wild Thing. So GT, keep on planning for QP!!

I understand playing QP in up to 4 games this year, for motivation and experience purposes. At the same time, VT benefits more with the separation, with WT, JJ and HH all having multiple years of eligibility left. I think WT beats all of them out next year, and I think we see some separation between QP, JJ and HH as well. As a RS FR, I definitely don’t see QP leaving anytime soon.

We do have some great years ahead of us!
